Gravitation
By Lovisa Onnermark
Amadeus and Absy are two best friends who both long for and dread their first day of high school. This is where life begins! But Amadeus isn’t sure he’s ready for life to begin and everything it entails — he wishes things could stay the same.
Then he meets his new teacher, Sonja, who introduces him to Gravity – a philosophical concept about what drives us towards different choices in life, about powers to strong to resist.
“Gravitation” is a play that takes it’s audience on a stirring and visually overwhelming journey through the subconscious of a teenager – a place where desire and fear collide in a whirlwind of emotions. The play is inspired by ancient Greek tragedies that explore morality and ethics, set in a surreal high school environment, about overwhelming desires, the longing for a grand life, and being utterly terrified of it all.
And about rabbits.
